Riding in France
Has anyone riden in France on a tour organised from an Aussie based company ? and if it was good who are they - cheers
Somethings got to be done about it..
Something has to be done about those MWCC guys winning at Beauie while we can't seem to take a trick on their patch. Three of us rolled out to West Hd this morning and we all got smashed in B grade. I didn't last the first run to the lookout and Graig and Max got blown out the back in the second lap (i think, correct me if i'm wrong). It was an A/B grade handicap with about 20 in B and 6 in A. B grade rolled out 3min ahead and in the spirit of complete cooperation it smashed into breakaways within a k or two, Doh!
Amy Gillet Gran Fondo
Well what can I say about this event...awesome sums up the event very well, it was very well organised and put together. Some people may of thought it wasnt a very Pro ride similar to Sydney to the Gong, however it was so so much more than that.
The route on the face of it looked fairly challenging, with the undulations of the Great Ocean Road, followed by a 9.1km climb and then a uphill finish. I had opted to start in the 3rd wave of 200 riders. All on closed roads!

An Awesome Weekend in Coota
What can I say, a great weekend with the NSCC Boys down in Coota, the weather was perfect and the riding hard and fast. The group met up in Coota avoiding any speeding tickets from the multiple highway patrol officers on the way down and got registered.
Goulburn to Sydney Classic
Hi All
I am going back for the 3rd year to ride with Ex Wallaby great Simon Poidevin in the charity ride event. This will be more of a challenge this year as on Tuesday i had a little spill at 50kph and put my thumb bone out through the skin, not to mention the copious amounts of lycra burned into my skin on my arm and legs. I was more upset when the good doctors at RNS started cutting my new NSCC kit off.......i salvaged the vest with a few holes in the back, but its still wearable.
New Kit
Yes the new kit looks good, but i prefer last years kit. The way the kit is ordered and distributed needs to be looked at as i know some new members to the club have been left without kit again, after missing out last year aswell. Perhaps when another round of kit is ordered an email can go out to members asking them to go to HC and pre-oder their kit and pay upfront to ensure they receive it.
