El Pres crash this morning - thanks everyone

Thanks to everyone on this morning's El Pres who stopped to help Mathew and myself after the tree limb fell and took us out on Mona Vale. I was held at RNS hospital for a few hours because my helmet was a bit broken and am fine now.

Special thanks to Mat who organised the ambulances, Paul for calling my wife, and Archie for dealing with my bike.

Fitz's Challenge ride report by Craig Stevens

Fitz's Challenge

The idea to do Fitz's started with an email from Stu Robertson. Fitz's Challenge, who's in?
Stu's quote was, "Had a great time down there last year, so who's up for the challenge of 200k's with over 4,00 metres of ascent"? Personally I didn't have to think twice especially when you have riders like Stu, Lee Watts, Lee leethal Robson and Jason Stephens jumping on board.

Guns and Roses ride report by Deb

Guns & Roses Take On Ettalong
After a few weather induced abandonments of special rides over winter, last Saturday the Guns and Roses regulars (and a few extras) were greeted with a beautiful blue sky day for their first Ettalong Loop ride. 12 riders set off up from Hornsby and we collected Sue and Wayne on the way. It was not only the first Ettalong Ferry Loop for most riders but also the first century for a few too.

Tour de Korea 2014

After 1350km in 8days at 40km/h made it to the finish of Tour de Korea. This was perhaps the most painful week I have ever had on a road bike. But through crashing, injury, illness and mountain after mountain after mountain with my team we made it. For a team of diabetics to finish 1 of the hardest races in Asia, many would still think to be impossible. Yesterday we debunked many misconceptions!

New Years Day Ettalong Loop

126km (not including the ferry) at 28.6km average made for a very pleaseant ride and back before midday. 1800m elevation gain over 4.4 hours.

El Pres ANL Road Rage handled well

ANL have handled this morning's road rage incident well after a couple of people called them. The driver has been sent home and is going to be dealt with on Tuesday. It's nice to see that ANL take our safety seriously.
