Bobbin Head Cycle Classic

On Sunday the 25th of March the Rotary clubs of Ku-ring-gai and Turramurra are organising a charity ride in our backyard.

There are multiple options but the main ride is from Turramurra to Calga and back via Bobbin Head, 100km. The ride is to raise funds for two charities Lifeline–Harbour to Hawkesbury and a project to build a Hospital at Bo, Sierra Leone.

It would be great to see a large number of NSCC riders support the event and if interest is sufficient we will evaluate cancelling the current Beaumont Rd scheduled for this date.

Further details can be found in the attached pdf document or the website http://bobbinheadcycleclassic.com.au/

I'm going to be doing the 50km option with my girlfriend and a couple of other 'non-Lycra' cyclists. I've also foolishly said i'll do it on my singlespeed... Will be flying the NSCC colours for sure!

Is it worth setting up a stall at the start/finish too?

Of course, we can do it while we wait for the Turramurra riders to finish!

Keen to do this. Think I will stretch myself to the 100km event (111km distance). Do we have a Team name registered?
