The monthly Beauie race is on this Sunday - Sydney's best criterium race circuit is sure to have melting tarmac as the region's hottest riders scorch the course in this beautiful weather we're having.

A red hot field is expected and in A grade everyone will be watching the form of Angus Calder who blitzed the race at MWCC West Head last week. Some of the NSCC guns may also be out - like Marcus Culey, the star of SBS, although he is so used to racing at 4,000 metres altitude, how will he adapt to the fat air at Beauie? Will we see the Silent Assassin, Michael Potter, who is also in unbeatable form?

So make sure you get to Beauie early to sign on - rego opens around 7.30am - as there will be a big turnout for sure. Race coordinator Bobby Santone has promised to personally sweep every corner with a hand brush so that the circuit is in top condition.

Racing will be graded scratch race over 4 grades, A to D. We'd especially encourage women competitors who are welcome in any of the grades.

Please proudly wear your club colours, remember to bring your race licence and wear an approved stadard helmet.

Address for newcomers is Beaumont Road, Mount Ku-Ring-Gai
